Masquerade

I am wondering, contemplating, seeing
figures with masks attached to their faces.
Different colours and shapes.
Some beautiful. Some peculiar.
And the rests are just shallow.

And I can't help but ponder,
What kind of life are they living?
Is it full of adventures?
Is it full of unachieved dreams?
Is it full of euphorias?
or is it just another deep, endless. black hole?

If grievance were to befall them,
Would they be heedless of it?
or will they accept it with an open arms?

The strongest wins.
The weakest dies.
Now let the dance begin!

Comeback!

Assalamualaikum beautiful creatures!

Waaahhhh!! It's been ages since I've written a new poem!! And it's already 2013! Sorry guys, it's not you it's me. My inspirations don't come visiting me that often anymore. And to top it all of, I've been tangling up with lots of mind-tiring life conflicts. So yeah, my life is action-packed, occasionally boring, but never disappointing! Just the way I know it. Hehe.. 

I miss writing poems. Haven't realized how much until I realized my name means 'poet'. Like I'm not kidding. Really.  

Therefore, I, with such humility, am ever so grateful to those of you who have been waiting patiently for me to make a comeback! Or not. God I miss being dramatic! :)
