The Dark House
As I go along I see it,
Kept secret in the black night,
Hiding in its place,
Waiting to be found.
The House seems hollow,
No lights to turn to,
No hope to hold on to.
Back where she belongs.
A home is nothing but a cage,
Trapped inside with penetrating scream,
But Silence took control.
The wind chimes every night,
Brings peace to her heart,
But she's lost in sight.
Let her out,
Just let her run.
If she could only see the light,
She would go.
The House ties her,
Not letting go,
The grip gets tighter,
Struggles to break free,
But the secret remains.
Abandoned, forgotten,
The world where no one else is living,
Everyone's gone,
To stay is not a choice,
What happens next?
Back where she belong now,
It's not a home but a cage...
