Bury Yourself in the Dark

Bury yourself in the dark,
The unseen gives you pleasure,
Out of the things you can’t have.
You’re asleep with your eyes open,
The nightmare rattles your mind,
And then you bleed.
Hide the mirror now,
The reflection frightens you.
As you drag your feet in the fire,
Everything feels cold
even your heart.
Willing to be forgotten,
Left and buried in the memories,
So painful and dreadful,
The thought of being alone.
Remember those days,
When the air is brighter,
What you left behind,
Will stay alive in your dreams.
